Phoebe is on a road trip through Louisiana gathering research for a school project on southern architecture. When an old house in the bayou draws her attention, she meets Elnora, an older photographer who’s family has lived in the house for generations. The two form a fast friendship and spend a summer learning about trust, artistic representation, and, ultimately, betrayal.
